To start a support group or class video session
From the Support Group and Classes Session Details page, click Start Session on the upper right corner of the screen.
Support Group and Classes Session Details
Before the video session begins, providers prepare for their group or class in the Preparing Room.
Use the Preparing Room to:
Invite providers or co-hosts to the video session (1)
Test video and microphone (2)
Start presentation slides with the share screen icon. (3)
When you are ready to host the video session, open the room by clicking the Open Room Now button (4) on the top right corner of the screen. Once you Open the Room, you cannot re-enter the Preparing Room if you exit out of it.
Mahmee will automatically notify your attendees to join.
An 'On Air' button appears at the top of the screen to indicate the room is open and participants are able to join.
Inviting co-hosts and unregistered participants to the video session while on the On Air
Invite co-hosts to join you in the Preparing Room. Click the +Invite button on the bottom right of the video screen.
Click View (1) in the upper right corner to view attendees that have already been invited to the video session.
Use the search bar (2) to type the attendee or provider's name,
Choose language preference, (3)
Click the Invite with host abilities if the attendees will be a co-host. (4)
Click Send Invite. (5)
Ending a video session:
Click the End Call button at the bottom of the video screen.
A pop up notification will ask to confirm that you want End Call. After a call has been ended, all attendees who joined the video session will automatically receive a survey to provide feedback.
Support group and class hosts can provide feedback on their hosting experience directly to Mahmee by clicking Submit Host Feedback to Mahmee. Use this to report any issues you had during the video session. If everything on the video session was great, we love to hear that feedback, too!
