Send messages from Mahmee messaging

This video explains how to send a message to a patient or to another provider.

  1. From your Provider Dashboard, select the Messages box OR select 'Messages' from the left purple navigation bar.

  2. When we’re in the Messages section, we can see our Unanswered Messages, All Messages, and New Message option.

  3. Click the green New Message button to create a new message.

  4. Click in the Search Bar to enter the name of the patient or provider you’d like to send a message too.

  5. You must also select a category for this message. Go to the Categories dropdown menu and select the category that this message pertains too.

  6. Click in the green box that reads “Start typing a message…” to write your message.

  7. You can also attach a file to the message by clicking the Attach File button. Please note the attachments must be either in JPG or PNG format.

  8. When the message is complete, click the green Send button. You will receive an alert that your message has sent.

Your message will pop up as the first message in the All Messages column, and you can see the image that was attached.
